In-Home & Virtual Services

In-Home Consultation

As pet owners ourselves, we understand you want the very best for your pet! An in-home consultation with Solace Veterinary Care involves a full physical exam and environmental assessment that will allow us to create a custom plan for your pet’s long-term hospice needs. Our goal is to work alongside pet parents to keep senior pets as comfortable as possible using a range of medications/supplements and treatments.

This service is also available for pet owners who are seeking guidance to evaluate their pet’s quality of life and determine if it is time for their pet’s passing. During your pet's consultation, you will be provided with valuable information and insight to assist you in making the best decisions possible for your furry family member.

In-Home Euthanasia

Losing a pet is never an easy event, but we are here to help it be the most peaceful version possible. (A prior in-home consultation is NOT required if you are certain that you are ready to proceed with your pet’s euthanasia appointment.)

Euthanasia includes sedating pre-medication to promote relaxation and support a peaceful passing prior to the procedure itself, and a memorial paw print made during the appointment for you to keep. Gentle and respectful transport of your pet for after-life care will follow, if elected.

Virtual Vet Visit

Available to established patients/clients of Solace Veterinary Care. These visits are designed to help guide owners through any changes or difficulties in carrying out their pet's hospice treatment plan, as well as to help guide quality of life assessments and knowing when it may be time to consider euthanasia for a hospice patient.

Please note that all virtual appointments will require a stable internet connection and the capability to utilize video conferencing software (Zoom, Google Meet, etc).
